MR-498
MR-498 is QSFD's rescue boat. The boat
is a 2004 Zumro Rescue Boat w/ 60 hp Mercury 4 stroke engine and 13"
big foot prop. The front of the bow opens up for easy recovery of
victims, rescuers and divers.
MR-498's equipment includes throw ropes of various lengths, 1
floatation ring, 1 bull horn, 4 cold water rescue suits |

was purchased by the Fire Department as a result of the successful
fundraisers including the letter campaign. Thank you for your

- 491
ETA-491 was built by Middlesex in
1983. The original configuration was 1000 gpm pump and 1000 gallon
tank. This truck was the front line pumper for 4 years until a fast
attack truck was purchased in 1987. In
1987, ETA-491became a scene support engine to pump water to the
front line trucks. In 2002, 1200 feet of 5 inch hose replaced
the 3 inch hose increasing the water supply capacity. In 2003,
Wildefire of Mayfield, NY installed a a new 1,300 gallon poly
tank with a 12" quick dump to allow the truck to perform
as a true tanker or for mutual aid. In 2004, a GPS unit and
715 MHz radio was added for helicopter landing zone operations. |

ETA-492 is a 1992
Central/International built by WildeFire in Mayfield, NY. The
main purpose of ETA-492 is for tanker shuttles and water supply. The
truck is equipped to run as a pumper if another truck is
out of service or there are multiple calls.

E-496 is a 1999 International 4x4 4800 series
built by V-tech. E-496 is designed as an engine for initial rescue and
structure fire attack and was built with a compressed air foam system.
