Fund Raiser for Dawn Ormsby
On Saturday, November
14th, 2009 we held a fundraiser for Dawn Ormsby
who was recently in a
serious car accident. Dawn is the daughter of
our 1st Assistant Chief, Don Ormsby, Jr. We had a fantastic
turnout and we want to thank everyone who attended and everyone who donated
money, time and supplies! We are proud to serve a
such a caring community.
Become a Friend of the
Volunteers The town
of Saratoga has formed a committee to honor and recognize the
hard work and dedication of our Volunteer Firefighters and EMS
workers. The committee has a variety of members including
representatives of the fire and EMS agencies serving the town.
The committee is designing a “Volunteer Recognition Park“ in
front of the new town hall at the corners of Spring Street and
Broad Street in the village of Schuylerville.
The committee is
offering a chance to be a part of this recognition by sponsoring
a “Friend of the Volunteers” brick at the park.
